Mobile Technician

As the Mobile Tractor/Trailer Mechanic, you will work in conjunction with the Service Coordinator, Trailer Mechanics, and other Tractor Mechanics to complete preventative maintenance and repairs on the Bison fleet in a timely and efficient manner by diagnosing problems found during inspections and prescribing the correct remedial action. This position will work outside of the shop running our Mobile Repair Unit.

Qualifications:

• Licensed heavy duty mechanic
• Demonstrated diagnosing and time-management abilities will be key to your success in this position
• Previous experience and qualification to perform Safety inspections are considered an asset in this position
• Ability to provide superior customer service to our drivers
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Willingness to work outside

Our Ideal Candidate will possess:

• Troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repair of Transport Trailers in the yard.
• 2-3 years of experience working on transport trailers and a great mechanical aptitude would be considered an asset in this position.
• Demonstrated diagnosing and time-management abilities will be key to your success in this position.
• Ability to provide superior customer service to our drivers
• Ability to work unsupervised
• Willingness to work outside
• Valid Driver’s License

This position is subject to a Monday to Friday schedule, 7:30am-16:00.
