As a Mobile Parkade Security Guard, there is a high focus on driving, customer service, and physical ability as you will be moving around your entire shift and patrolling the Hospital Parkade environment. You will be working with people in the Hospital Parkade environment.

P1: Monday to Friday (1530-2330)

P2: Saturday and Sunday (1530-2330)

Responsibilities for Mobile Parkade Security Guard

• Patrol sensitive areas to spot any suspicious activity
• Verify identities and control access to secure areas
• React quickly to threats or incidents
• Mobile Parking Patrols as per post orders and as instructed by Supervisor
• Traffic Control
• Work as a team and report to the onsite supervisor
• Provide escorts for visitors and issue passes for appropriate areas
• Ensure all doors are closed, and vacant areas have lights off
• Maintain a safe and secure environment
• Provide active response, assist EMS, Fire Watch, Pressurized Systems, and chemical spills
• Follow employee work alone process
• G-Track Patrolling will be done as per site orders
• Between patrols, park at a spot mentioned in the site orders
• Perform vehicle inspection at the start and end of shift
• Document/report issues using electronic devices
• Adhere to all company standards and site orders

Qualifications for Mobile Parkade Security Guard

• Be authorized to work in Canada
• Hold a valid Manitoba security license
• First aid certification is an asset
• Ability to walk and mobile patrol entire shift
• Be able to use personal vehicle
• Fluent in English, both written and orally
• 1-2 years experience as a security guard in customer-facing roles
• High school education or equivalent
• Valid Class 5 Driver's License
• Parking facility for personal car is not available
