Reporting to the Planning & Reliability General Supervisor, you will be part of the Mobile Maintenance Department. You will be in charge of the reliability of Mobile Mine assets. You will review and develop plans to maintain equipment safely and reliably, enhance cost performance, and improve production availability. You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

Responsibilities

  • Review and enhance maintenance strategies and maintenance tasks; Preventive Maintenance, Systematic, CBM, Corrective Maintenance;
  • Develop plan to reduce the losses through different reliability methods and tools; Pareto analysis, root cause analysis, RCM, FMEA;
  • Analyze repetitive critical equipment failure and make recommendations on improvement actions;
  • Provide technical support to production, maintenance, management and technical personnel;
  • Lead the implementation of Key Performance Indicators for Maintenance processes with the team;
  • Participate in the budget and the life of mine (LOM) process for better understanding of the cost structure;
  • Ensure the safest, most efficient and reliable maintenance performance;
  • Test and improve the implementation with the stakeholders;
  • Direct the integration of Maintenance processes with other organizational processes;
  • Support revision of the inventory and spare parts recommendation.

What You Need to Succeed

  • Mechanical Engineering Technology Degree, bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent;
  • 5 years of experience in the reliability field, in a similar role, either with Mobile equipment;
  • Experience in reengineering or process definition, mapping and measuring existing processes as well as analyzing, modifying, designing and implementing new processes;
  • Ability to define and lead project-based workshops;
  • Be comfortable with all models of failure measurement;
  • Mining experience is an asset;
  • Excellent working knowledge of all Microsoft Office Suite applications especially Outlook, Excel, Word & PowerPoint.

Your Work Schedule:

  • Schedule: 7 days of work, followed by 7 days for transportation and rest, and Hybrid Schedule;
  • Accommodations and meals are provided on site at no cost to the employee. Agnico Eagle provides charter flights to and from the mine site and will accommodate to cover other travelling expenses according to your location of residence in Canada.
