Salary: From $32 - $39.20/hr

Shift: NIGHT SHIFT

Our client located in North York (Jane / Wilson) is looking for an Industrial Millwright – Mechanic (with or without Millwright License) and an Electrician with 442a license. Applicants must be flexible to work any shift, especially for night shift (10:00pm - 6:00am). Maintenance Mechanic – Unlicensed is also acceptable, but applicants must have experience within the food or packaging industry. The pay rate for unlicensed would be $32 per hour plus shift premium (for Night shift only). Please apply with an updated resume in WORD or PDF format only.

Candidate should have the following abilities:

1. A good understanding of the mechanical and electrical components of equipment used in the bakeshop and packaging departments (i.e., flow wrappers, metal detectors, etc.)
2. Troubleshooting and fixing mechanical problems, setting up equipment in an efficient manner.
3. College education in electro-mechanical, electronics, or electrical controls.
4. Performing major and minor adjustments to equipment in a reasonable time frame.
5. Performing all maintenance on plant equipment in a safe manner, ensuring equipment and machines are clean and in good working order, following GMP.
6. A good understanding of using a CMMS and LOTO safety.
7. Maintain a variety of mechanical equipment with both corrective and preventative maintenance.
8. Perform equipment/system improvements as well as research and test new equipment, completing all maintenance record keeping and ensuring all related information is available.

Minimum Requirements:

A minimum of 3 years working experience with mechanical and electrical systems, including setup, adjustments, and troubleshooting.
