Jardeg is recruiting a Millwright Foreperson to join our maintenance team at the CNRL Horizon site near Fort McMurray, Alberta. The Millwright Foreperson Base Rate is $58.71/hr. This position is a permanent night shift position on a 7/7 or 14/14 shift rotation working 12 hours per day. This is a compressed schedule and is straight time for all hours worked on the regular maintenance schedule. Camp accommodation is provided at the Richardson camp, all rooms have a private washroom, and the camp is walking distance to the site footprint. Flights are provided out of Calgary or Edmonton flight hubs.

As a Millwright Foreperson, you will be expected to do but are not limited to the following tasks:

• Assist with planning and organizing the day-to-day completion of projects to support production plans.
• Supervise and organize tasks assigned to employees and oversee work performed.
• Read diagrams and schematic drawings and service manuals to determine work procedures.
• Operate rigging equipment and dollies to place heavy machinery and parts.
• Fit bearings, align gears and shafts, attach motors, and connect couplings and belts to precise tolerances.
• Align and test equipment, and make any necessary adjustments.
• Perform predictive and operational procedures.
• Repair or replace defective parts.
• Service and repair hydraulic and pneumatic systems.

Qualifications:

• Valid Journeyperson certification as a Millwright Journeyperson.
• Minimum 2 Years Leadership experience.
• Commitment to safety protocols and adherence to industry regulations.
• Physical aptitude to perform tasks that may require lifting, bending, and working at heights.

Minimum Requirements:

• Satisfactory completion of a Pre-Access Drug and Alcohol Test.
• Common Safety Orientation (CSO) or CSTS-09.
• Energy Safety Canada Certified Confined Space Entry & Monitor.
• Energy Safety Canada Certified Fall Arrest and/or Fall Protection.
• Aerial Work Platform.
• Basic Rigging.
• Valid Government Issued Identification.
