Our client located near Newmarket, Ontario has an immediate opening for a Millwright

Shift: Steady shifts either Day or Afternoon

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot equipment problems
  • Daily check for any Safety issues and countermeasure
  • Complete assigned Safety work orders within 5 days of receipt
  • Responsible for equipment associated to Facilities and other areas as directed
  • Accurately fill out daily reports
  • Inspect your areas for problems and equipment items
  • Evaluating problems, provide and implement countermeasures
  • Completion of Work orders and Preventative Maintenance tasks
  • Implement improvements and countermeasures
  • HVAC, plumbing, pump, weld/cooling water system, air compressor/air dryer, exhaust fan and general building maintenance

Qualifications

  • Licensed Millwright
  • Microsoft Office experience an asset.
  • VFD Controls
  • Building Automation software
  • Position requires professionalism and service orientation
  • Electrical background is essential
  • Experience working in an automotive or equivalent industry
  • Fork Truck and Man Lift use
  • Needs to be willing and able to support overtime, weekends and emergency call ins as required
  • Exhibit the ability to work in a challenging environment
  • Willing and able to be a self-starter
