Millwright

On behalf of our client, we are searching for a Millwright for a position in Burlington, ON.

Wage: Up to $43/hr

Shift: Rotating 12-hour Continental

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing mechanical assembly equipment and systems
• Complete work orders identifying and troubleshooting machine irregularities and breakdowns.
• Perform testing routines on a scheduled basis.
• Dismantling, examining, and repairing mechanical systems and equipment such as motors, gearboxes, drives, pulleys, hydraulic components, air filtration systems.
• Working with other maintenance and operations staff to coordinate maintenance schedules.
• Maintaining the inventory of mechanical supplies and equipment, and making the necessary requisitions.
• Reporting any abnormal conditions of materials, products or equipment to the supervisor; lubricating and making adjustments to tools and equipment used.

Qualifications:

• Valid 433A Red Seal License or experienced Journeyman
• A valid Driver’s License
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a millwright role
• A background in a manufacturing industry preferred
• Experience with rotating equipment
• Able to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and schematics; and in-depth knowledge of troubleshooting methods.
