Merchandiser Supervisor (Maritimes Area)

Our production specializes in perennials, fine herbs, vegetables and tropical plants for large chain stores in Quebec, Ontario and the Maritimes, as well as for many garden centers.

What You Will Do:

Responsible for the efficiency of the sales program between Rosaire Pion and Sons Greenhouses Inc. and 8 Home Depot stores in the Maritimes area. Responsible for supervising, coaching, training and developing merchandisers on the principles of merchandising, maintaining product layouts and achieving the objectives of both parties involved in this agreement. Acts as a resource person for merchandisers and represents the interests of Rosaire Pion and Sons Greenhouses Inc. Supervise 5 to 15 full-time and/or part-time seasonal merchandisers. This position involves approximately 80% field work and 20% administrative and computer work (Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Excel and custom software).

What We Are Looking for:

• A dynamic person who wants to be at the heart of the action.
• A High school diploma or any other training will be considered.
• Minimum 3 years experience in a similar position.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Spoken and written English. Excellent communication skills.
• Management skills (plan, organize, guide and control).
• Flexible, adaptable to events and last-minute changes.
• Available to modify your work schedule during the busy seasonal period from April to June to meet specific company needs.
• People skills: reliable, team player and proactive.

Work Conditions:

• Full-time availability, 40 hours/week and more, depending on needs and emergencies.
• Daily travel to various Home Depot and occasional travel requiring overnight stays may be required.
• Employment status: 7 to 8-months seasonal, approximately from March to October, full-time, daytime.
• Expected start date: End of February 2025.
• Mileage reimbursement policy.
• Reimbursement policy for cell phone use.
• Salary: starting at $24 per hour.
