We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Merchandise Space Planner to join our team on a 1-year contract. This role is ideal for individuals with retail experience, particularly those with a background in floor planning or space optimization in large retail environments like grocery stores or big-box retailers (e.g., Walmart). As a Merchandise Space Planner, you'll work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and execute floor plans, optimize product placement, and ensure that store layouts align with overall merchandising strategies. You will be working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and will be responsible for tasks like re-flooring departments, optimizing space, and resolving discrepancies in layout (e.g., columns or other obstacles on the floor). If you’re passionate about retail space planning, have a strong business acumen, and enjoy collaborating with others, this could be the role for you.
