As Merchandise Planning Analyst, you will be responsible for driving financial performance and OMNI inventory productivity, with the goal of meeting/exceeding sales, margin and inventory turn targets; while optimizing in-stock rates within our Core range and Sell-through of our Seasonal assortments. Partnering with Buying, Planning and Allocation, the incumbent will help in the development and execution of reporting to identify opportunities within all of our Global product range; analyzing, measuring and communicating sales and inventory performance through key KPI’s such as, but not limited to – OTB, ST%, WOS, and turn rate expectations to optimize inventory.

The Opportunity

  • Optimize inventory through Forecasting Core Replenishment & Placing Supply/POs to optimize NOOS/Core product offerings in-stock rates – monthly and quarterly. Monitor sales performance, inventory levels, and product lifecycle to optimize inventory.
  • Collaborate with Buying & Planning to quantify and coordinate the quarterly seasonal placement of DTC POs
  • Build quarterly investments for all Knix classes — bottom-up style/color buy plan (AP in Toolio)
  • Partner with Allocation to replenish retail stores weekly and initiate new assortment allocations
  • Maintain, manage & update attributions within master SKU data in Toolio
  • Build and manage size curve analyses to inform buying & planning on optimization
  • Build and maintain strong cross-functional relationships with merchandising, planning, marketing, ecomm, retail, and wholesale teams to ensure seamless execution of buying initiatives and alignment with business strategies
  • Collaborate with Retail VP, Allocation and Buying on building and sustaining a robust store profiling/cluster template for Knix
  • Challenge the status quo and consistently identify areas for improvement, diagnose issues and work to resolve them
  • Collaborate with key partners to drive flexible and iterative solutions quickly and easily
  • Share technical knowledge with others and actively seek to learn from those more knowledgeable than yourself

Qualifications

  • 5+ years within omni channel Planning Analyst work streams or equivalent business-related experience
  • Strong analytical skills; ability to analyze and utilize financial measurements including sales, gross margin, receipt flow, OTB, etc. to impact the business
  • Advanced Excel & Google skills and ERP management or mass data experience
  • Strong communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain productive, cohesive relationships with peers and cross-functional teams
  • Strong listening, written, and oral communication skills
  • Ability to deal with change and uncertainty
  • Solid problem-solving skills
  • Flexible and adaptable to changing priorities
  • Ability to organize and prioritize workload, meet deadlines, multitask, and complete projects on time
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
