We are currently hiring a Member Service Representative for our Surrey Service Location. This Temporary Full time assignment will end late August or early September.

As a Member Service Representative, you are part of the Member-facing team that delivers exceptional Member experiences every time. You are the first and last impression for every Member who enters and leaves our Service location. This position plays a pivotal role in delivering amazing Member experiences by identifying Member needs and seamlessly directing Service Location customer flow.

  3. You’re an analytical thinker with sound judgment and decision-making skills.
  4. A fast-paced environment with shifting priorities is no problem for you.

What you’ll do:

  1. Engage and welcome incoming Members and proactively coordinate appointments with the Advisors to ensure an ideal waiting experience.
  2. Answer incoming phone calls, making outbound calls to confirm appointments and monitor the Service Location email account.
  3. Enhance Member value by promoting BCAA Membership, products and services.
  4. Process payments and documents.

What you bring:

  1. Completion of Grade 12.
  2. At least two years’ experience in customer service, preferably in insurance or hospitality.
  3. Strong computer skills with basic knowledge of MS Office Suite Products (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Bonus qualifications!

  1. CAIB certification or knowledge of ICBC systems.
  2. Ability to speak other languages aside from English.

The hourly rate range for this position is $20.62 to $25.77 and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 10%, with the opportunity to earn up to 17%.
