In accordance with established vision and values of the organization, working under general supervision and practicing in accordance with the standards of professional practice and the vision and values of Northern Health, performs radiographic/fluoroscopic and related duties working in conjunction with radiologists, physicians and other health care professionals.
Shift Rotation/Hours of work: Monday to Friday, Days - 08:00 to 16:00. On call is required and shared.
New Wage: As of April 1, 2024, the new wage is: $36.69 - $45.81/hour
Fort Nelson General Hospital is a nine acute bed hospital with seven long-term care beds. Services include laboratory, medical imaging, community counselling, basic obstetrics, and minor surgery. Visiting specialists in obstetrics, pediatrics, massage therapy, acupuncture and physiotherapy is also available.
Fort Nelson is located in the northernmost region of the Rocky Mountains and has a family and recreation-oriented community of 3,366 (2021) people. The country around Fort Nelson is vast and has an abundance of rivers, mountains, hot springs, and wildlife viewing for the adventure seeker.

Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited medical radiography program.
- Current certification with the Canadian Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (CAMRT) and eligible for membership with the BC Association of Medical Radiation Technologists (BCAMRT) and/or CAMRT.
