About the Role

In this newly created role, as Medical Lead - Haematology, you'll be responsible for the execution and success of GSK's medical strategy in this space. Acting as an advocate for GSK Australia at a global level and being able to collaborate with the wider medical team to drive success.

Your role will include:

• Interact with global governance structures, clearly articulating Australia's needs.
• Pre-launch & Launch strategy, and pipeline assessments, with an initial focus on Haematology.
• Use medical and technical expertise to liaise with external experts, health care professionals, and scientific researchers.
• Provide medical and technical expertise to scientific submissions, and to marketing and sales.
• Provide external insights to internal teams to assist in business, clinical development, and strategic planning.
• Act as a delegate for the Medical Director when needed, demonstrating the ability to lead and influence the wider team.

About you?

To be successful in the role, you'll have a demonstrated track record in creating and executing complex pre-launch and launch medical strategies, with a critical need for scientific knowledge of (or experience in) haematology. You'll demonstrate a growth mindset in demonstrating ways to improve quality and processes, timelines, and other business solutions.

You’ll also bring:

• Strong project management skills, with proven medical governance capability.
• Excellent communication skills, able to gather information and appropriately weight collaborative opinion from the wider business.
• Ability to draw on a wide range of internal and external sources to find information & solutions.
• Experience or understanding of the haematology space is required.
