Job Summary

As a Technician for our Clinical Laboratory department located in Senneville, you will perform technical activities and follow directives from the study/phase plan and the procedures. Your success will ensure the smooth running of our research, as well as the integrity of our pre-clinical studies.

Primary Responsibilities

1. Perform the preparation and the analysis of samples
2. Perform blood draws
3. Perform the quality control procedure and maintenances on different instruments
4. Perform the activities in a timely fashion by adhering to preset schedules
5. Use a computer system for accurate and detailed data collection
6. Ensure the integrity of the studies and fulfill the regulatory agencies requirements by performing the activities according to the GLP, SOP and health and safety rules
7. Perform all other related duties as assigned

Key Elements

If you possess the following qualifications, we will train you in the rest:

1. College diploma, Medical Technologist. OPTMQ
2. Good attention to details
3. Able to work physically (lift up to 20 kg, walk, stand, stoop, etc.)
4. Understanding of written English is mandatory. Bilingualism French and English is preferable

Role Specific Information

1. Location: Senneville / Free parking / Free shuttle service from the Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue train station and John Abbott College to the Senneville site
2. Salary: Min 23$/hr
3. Annual bonus based on performance plan
4. Schedule: Tuesday to Saturday, 8:15am - 16:30pm
5. Permanent position as of the hiring, full-time 37.5hrs per week
