Job description

Based in Te Rapa, our client is a medical specialist who operates clinics across a number of locations. He requires a person to undertake a variety of administrative functions to ensure clinics operate efficiently and effectively. The position is busy, varied, and often requires reprioritising at short notice. The key responsibilities are:

  1. Scheduling and coordinating appointments
  2. File management and administration
  3. Liaising with other health providers and professionals
  4. Invoicing
  5. General administration

The successful candidate will demonstrate well-developed computer skills, be a competent Microsoft user, have outstanding customer service ability, and offer strong organisational skills. The ability to ‘think on your feet’ and adapt quickly when business needs change is key, as is working effectively under pressure. A huge respect for confidentiality is critical as you will be exposed to highly sensitive information in this interesting position. Past experience in a similar role will be an advantage but is not essential.
