Creates job packages from the work order scope which contains all the information regarding required labor material and services to ensure safe, effective and efficient execution of the work.
Requires broadened technical skills in analytical / scientific methods or operational processes to perform a defined array of activities.
May act as an informal resource for team members with less experience.
Must have obtained a high school diploma / equivalent PLUS a Journeyman Certificate, Red Seal Designation, OR two year degree (or higher).
A minimum of 6 years of relevant experience (i.e. journeyman, maintenance, manufacturing, project management, etc.).
Prior maintenance field planning experience is preferred.
Ability to safely work in a plant environment, meet physical demands, work at elevated heights, and comfortably use PPE and safety equipment. Must be familiar with or open to training on proper equipment usage.
Creates job packages for field work or fabrication / repair work in a shop.
