We're seeking an enthusiastic Entry-Level Mechanical Engineer to support our site, working together with our Tool Room Supervisor, maintenance, and production departments.

Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Mechanical Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and testing mechanical systems and components. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, proficiency in CAD software, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. The Mechanical Engineer will play a crucial role in working on new projects at our facility.

Responsibilities

  • Estimate cost and timelines associated with job tasks
  • Ensure that product design and development complies with OSHA and Company standards
  • Design and develop mechanical systems and components using CAD software, including AutoCAD Mechanical, Autodesk Inventor, and SolidWorks.
  • Create detailed schematics and documentation for system design and fabrication processes.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate mechanical designs with electrical and pneumatic systems.
  • Troubleshoot issues related to mechanical systems and implement effective solutions.
  • Fabricate prototypes and assist in the manufacturing process to ensure quality standards are met.
  • Maintain accurate records of design changes, testing results, and project progress.

Requirements

  • Post Secondary degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD Mechanical, Autodesk Inventor, SolidWorks)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a collaborative environment.
  • 3 years of experience is preferred, but we will consider new graduates as well.
