Permanent Position: Mechanic

Location: 120 Indian Creek Rd W, Chatham, ON N7M 2E2

Experience: 5+ years of relevant experience

Job Duties:

• Perform preventative maintenance by changing oil, lubrication, replacing worn parts and adjusting equipment on a daily basis
• Knowledge of sharpening and set up of reels, rotary blades and hand tools
• Maintain appropriate maintenance records
• Service & maintain electric and gas golf carts
• Perform routine functions of maintenance and repairs of golf course/project equipment: diesel equipment, tractors, riding mowers and hand mowers
• Keep all moving equipment operable and properly sharpened
• Inspect and test engines and other mechanical components using test devices to diagnose and isolate faults
• Test and adjust repaired equipment for proper performance

Additional Skills:

• Good communication skills (ability to follow written and oral directions)
• Ability to read and understand parts and repairs manuals
• Ability to work with minimal/no supervision

Job Type: Part-time

Schedule:

• Monday to Friday
• Weekends as needed
