Pace Academy is seeking a passionate Math Specialist to design and lead engaging math labs that align with our mission and commitment to self-directed, mastery-based learning.

Who you are:

• Passionate about inspiring a love of math in young learners.
• Skilled at using multisensory materials to make math engaging and accessible.
• Have a strong background in elementary and middle school math instruction.
• Excited to work in a learner-driven environment that values curiosity and mastery.

Details

• Hours: Monday-Thursday, 9:00-11:00 AM
• Pay: $25-$30 per hour
  

Responsibilities

• Lead math labs that support student growth and engagement.
• Assess learners and provide progress updates.
• Offer individual and small-group math tutoring.
• Adapt curriculum to fit Pace Academy’s personalized learning model.
• Plan effective sessions, weekly lessons, and daily activities.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop a math scope and sequence for upper elementary, middle school, and high school.
• Draft parent communication in collaboration with leadership.
• Work with Guides to integrate student work into portfolios and transcripts.
