TRS Staffing Solutions has exciting opportunities for a Material Management Director role to work for one of Canada's top employers and a global leader in the Engineering, Procurement, Construction Management industry.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop sourcing strategies and create bidders lists.
2. Plan and manage logistics to ensure cost-efficient transportation.
3. Coordinate and integrate all material management activities smoothly.
4. Ensure the material management plan effectively supports the construction schedule.
5. Collaborate with teams to define material specifications and needs.
6. Review and negotiate contract terms and conditions.
7. Implement and oversee material management processes to meet project deadlines.
8. Work with discipline leads to create and approve comprehensive material management plans.
9. Maintain and organize documentation and tracking systems for material management.
10. Perform additional tasks as required.

Qualifications:

1. Minimum 24 years of experience in Project Material Management or Procurement Management for large projects.
2. Skilled in effectively communicating with diverse groups, including management, clients, and contractors.
3. Detail-oriented with strong time management skills.
4. Demonstrates strong leadership abilities.
5. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
6. Highly skilled in computer literacy.
7. Effective decision-making capabilities.
8. Experience in the mining industry.
