Key Responsibilities:
- Engage and hold suppliers accountable to contractual and operational commitments and address any commercial and contractual compliance requirements and gaps, including the application of contractual remedies.
- Ensure the achievement of results in accordance with key performance indicators, balanced scorecard objectives, and business transformation project plans.
- Prepare oral and written presentations, and chair regular meetings with internal and external stakeholders to track progress, resolve issues, and maintain strategic relationships.
- Efficiently respond to ad hoc requests from various stakeholders to support the aftermarket supplier and material management business objectives and effective delivery model.
- Represent the team in internal and external meetings with suppliers and all disciplines within Customer Support.
- Communicate concepts and requirements expected in the negotiated contracts as required by Customer Support with the Sourcing organization.
- Negotiate and develop a logistic strategy with suppliers and implement a weekly meeting to address specific in-service issues.
- Work closely with all teams to collect and organize information to support supplier reviews.
- Support closure of top customer issues and support the Procurement team initiatives.
- Support AE gold level requirements/qualifications.
- Participate in cross-functional projects designed to improve reliability.
- Adhere to Bombardier General Work Rules.
How to thrive in this role? Skills, knowledge & experience:
- You typically have a minimum of 5 – 10 years of experience in a related field.
- You have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in a related field.
- You have a basic understanding of purchase and boilerplate agreements with suppliers.
- You have effective negotiation skills.
- You have effective presentation skills with the ability to conduct meetings at a professional level.
- You have strong communication and organizational skills.
- You have computer skills necessary to operate Microsoft applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio, etc.) as well as e-mail and other software and web-based applications.
- You have basic SAP user skills.
