Job Title: Piece Part Repair Engineer

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Warehouse Operations Associate, a successful candidate for this role shall support the warehouse/stockroom/operations. This is a unionized position with an hourly wage based on the applicable collective agreement. Shift assignment shall be determined based on business requirements and applicable seniority.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  1. Control administrative and physical conformity of materials.
  2. Perform operations according to aerospace standards and regulations.
  3. Follow all quality and safety rules.
  4. Perform necessary transactions associated with material in the ERP system in accordance with Production Cell requirements.
  5. Ensure timely support and movement of material within the Production Cells and across the various cells within the Operations.
  6. Check in merchandise and affix labels.
  7. Place materials in designated storage areas.
  8. Fulfill picking orders in warehouse management system and/or E.R.P.
  9. Move materials to store or buffer area, pack, unpack, and stage materials.
  10. Receive trucks and unload merchandise.
  11. Comfortably operate warehouse rolling equipment.
  12. Carry out tasks as assigned by the warehouse supervisor/manager.
  13. Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  1. 21 years of age or older.
  2. High school Diploma or Equivalent.
  3. Ability to communicate effectively in English; French is preferred.
  4. Self-motivated and can act on own initiative.
  5. Minimum of 2 years general knowledge of warehouse/stockroom environment.
  6. Detail-oriented with good mathematical abilities.
  7. Ability to apply common sense to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
  8. Must have ability to work as a team member to achieve the company’s quality and production standards.
  9. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are required to work with production employees and managers, often under stressful conditions.
  10. Ability to key in data, type, and operate a computer keyboard.
  11. Must have basic math skills, read pick lists, data printouts, bills of material, and other documents. Accuracy of data entry, accounts, and record keeping is essential.
  12. Knowledge of ATA standards and trade compliance.

Language Requirements in Quebec:

Intermediate level knowledge of English is necessary for aeronautical personnel to meet regulatory requirements, understand technical procedures and instructions, and document entries regarding work performed on the aeronautical product for customers outside Quebec.
