Our wellness facility is looking for a seasoned massage therapist to join our growing team. Our ideal candidate is personable, committed to cultivating an excellent rapport with every client, and has experience with varied physical conditions treatable with massage therapy.

Responsibilities

• Keep track of client treatment records and plans and monitor improvement.
• Give clients suggestions for wellness maintenance such as stretches and stress relief techniques.
• Treat clients safely and effectively using the appropriate therapeutic massage techniques that meet their needs.
• Assess and advise on each client’s unique needs, taking into consideration their level of stress, physical condition, and medical history, and offer recommendations for types of massage and treatment.
• Make sure the massage table and products to be used on the client’s skin are ready before every appointment.

Qualifications

• Certification: Must be a Registered Massage Therapist in Ontario with current licensure.
• Technical Expertise: Proficient in Myofascial, Fascia, or Connective Tissue approaches, with a knack for integrating innovative manual therapies.
• Education & Experience: Completion of a recognized massage therapy program is preferred, along with at least 1 year of hands-on experience. Experience in a multidisciplinary care setting is a plus.
• Interpersonal Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential—after all, effective healing happens when professionals connect with their clients on a genuine level.

Compensation:

$45 - $65 hourly
