CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

Location: Markham, ON – Corporate

Position Type: Full-time - Permanent

Reporting: Director of Sales & Marketing

Start Date: Immediately

Salary Range: $50k to $53K per year

Responsibilities:

  • Take part in new business initiatives and program rollouts as required.
  • Providing superior customer service for all incoming calls.
  • Telephone quotations on temporary business via inbound and outbound telemarketing.
  • Process customer transactions generated from service changes, billing issues, temporary orders, extra pick-ups, A/R inquiries.
  • Manage data entry of customer service changes into TRUX software for both Municipal and ICI customers.
  • Work with sales, operations, and administration departments to complete customer requests and resolve any issues.
  • Generating reports required by Director of Sales & Marketing.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Successful candidates should have a minimum of 6 months of administrative experience.
  • Highly productive, team player with excellent written, oral, and communication skills.
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook).
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Excellent customer service - client first attitude.
  • Must adhere to Miller Waste System safety protocols and must be familiar with the Occupational Health & Safety Act.
