This role requires an expert in using Marketo and Salesforce, who is also adept with APIs and tools like Zapier to seamlessly integrate various technology platforms. While a part of this role involves owning our email marketing technology (Marketo), including customer database segmentation and setting up behavior-based email triggers, the responsibilities extend well beyond email marketing. The ideal candidate will have a strategic mentality and a hands-on approach to optimize our marketing operations and contribute to our growth.

If you are a seasoned technical marketing operations expert and a collaborative leader with excellent communication skills, we want to hear from you.

In this role, you will:

  • Marketing Technology Management: Oversee and optimize the marketing technology stack, including Marketo and Salesforce, to support marketing campaigns and lead generation efforts.
  • Integration and Automation: Use APIs and tools like Zapier to connect different marketing and lead generation partners, ensuring seamless data flow and process automation across systems.
  • Lead Generation and Nurturing: Develop and implement lead generation strategies that apply the marketing tech stack to attract, nurture, and convert leads into qualified opportunities for the sales team.
  • Data Management and Analysis: Ensure the accuracy and integrity of marketing data in all systems. Analyze data to measure the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide insights for improvement.
  • Campaign Execution and Reporting: Collaborate with the marketing team to implement campaigns, track performance, and report on metrics. Provide recommendations for optimizing campaigns based on data analysis.
  • Continuous Improvement & Innovation: Find opportunities for process improvements within marketing operations and lead management to implement standard processes to enhance efficiency and scalability.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including sales, IT, and product, to ensure alignment and drive marketing initiatives forward.
  • Email Marketing Management: Own the email marketing strategy and execution in Marketo, including customer database segmentation, behavior-based triggers, and managing automated email workflows to drive customer engagement and lead nurturing.

Please apply if you have/are:

  • Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, and a minimum of 6 years of marketing operations experience, including technical project management and marketing campaign management.
  • Experience with Marketo and Salesforce sales and marketing products is a requirement.
  • Knowledge of digital ad operations; hands-on experience a plus (ie. experience with Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager).
  • Knowledge of marketing technology operation trends and standard processes.
  • Expert level organization and planning skills required.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Advanced Excel skills and a mind for analytics.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.

Benefits:

  • Paid Time Off - 20 days a year.
  • Birthday/celebration PTO - 1 day.
  • Annual company weeks off.
  • Flexible sick time off.
  • Paid volunteer time.
  • Parental Leave Benefits.
  • Dental & Vision Insurance.
  • Life & Disability Insurance.
  • Group RRSP and DPSP.
  • Major Medical Insurance (dependent care options).

There are a variety of factors that go into determining a salary range, including but not limited to external market benchmark data, geographic location, and years of experience sought/required. The range for this Canada located role is $80,000-100,000 CAD.

In addition to a competitive base salary, roles are eligible for additional compensation and benefits including: annual cash bonus; health benefits; flexible spending account; retirement benefits; life insurance; paid time off (including PTO, paid sick leave, medical leave, bereavement leave, floating holidays and paid holidays); and parental leave and benefits.
