Department: Marketing - All
Location: Abbotsford, BC
Compensation: $60,000 - $90,000 / year
Description
At Musora, we're creating the ultimate music lessons experience – with more than 100,000 music students learning and playing drums, piano, guitar, singing, and bass (coming soon).
We are looking for a marketing project manager to oversee our marketing campaigns, workflows, timelines, and budgets.
The ideal candidate should be the most organized person in the room – always taking notes, turning commitments into tasks, scheduling reminders, and ensuring all stakeholders are informed of key decisions and priorities.
You are confident working alongside marketers, copywriters, designers, photographers, video production, and web development – with a foundation in digital marketing to understand specific requirements and apply that insight into the workflows, milestones, and reviews.
And you take pride in bringing marketing campaigns to life – defining the scope, assigning roles, tracking budgets, supporting workflows, coordinating with external resources, and updating teams on progress or issues. You have a good instinct for what's on track compared to what'll need additional time, resources, or revisions.
The right person will become an integral part of our marketing team – helping us bring campaigns to life, reach new audiences, and support our mission to create more musicians and keep them playing longer.
If you're reading along and thinking THIS IS ME, we want you to apply and tell us why you are awesome.
Key Duties & Responsibilities
- Organize our priorities. You'll work with marketing leadership to establish and manage the marketing calendars, timelines, and priority projects.
- Keep projects on track. Every project is expected to have a shareable 1-pager with the scope, budget, resources, timelines, and stakeholders – as well as a project board with the tasks, workflows, and collaboration. You'll be expected to keep projects on-track and sound the alarm whenever something needs extra attention.
- Collaborate across teams. You'll coordinate kick-off meetings, support all workflow communication, and collaborate with internal and external resources. When key strategic decisions are made, you're expected to document and communicate with all stakeholders.
- Support budgeting and goals. You'll support all budget and goal-related documentation on a macro and micro level – working with marketing leadership to set project budgets and goals, and then working with marketing teams to work within these budgets and report on the outcomes.
- Offer strategic insights. You'll always have multiple projects on the go – at various stages of concept to completion – with the expectation to make sure they're meeting deadlines and delivering on their intent. You'll need to stay consistently aligned with marketing priorities, apply critical thinking, and provide contextual insights to support each project's success.
