We are currently hiring a Marketing Manager, Strategic Ventures based in our Head Office in Burnaby.

Please note that this is a hybrid role based out of our Burnaby, BC office (2 Remote / 3 On Site). Applicants who are not located within commuting distance of our Head Office or are not looking to relocate to the Greater Vancouver/Lower Mainland/Fraser Valley region will not be considered.

As the Marketing Manager, Strategic Ventures at BCAA, you will lead the marketing efforts for Evolve, BCAA’s innovative E-Bike and E-Scooter program. This is a dynamic role where you’ll lead the charge in building brand awareness, engaging communities, and driving the growth of Evolve as a leader in sustainable micromobility solutions. Your expertise will shape go-to-market strategies, create impactful campaigns, and foster connections with communities through thoughtful engagement and public relations.

Reporting to the Senior Manager, Marketing of Strategic Ventures, you will play a critical role in gathering and analyzing consumer insights to inform future campaigns, initiatives, and launches. You’ll collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and external partners to ensure that marketing efforts align with BCAA’s broader mission of delivering innovative, customer-focused solutions. Additionally, you’ll oversee a direct report, fostering their professional development while ensuring marketing strategies are effectively executed.

Who you are:

  • You are an entrepreneurial marketing professional with proven experience in product and consumer marketing.
  • You are skilled in developing and executing go-to-market strategies and multi-channel campaigns.
  • You are a collaborative leader, comfortable managing direct reports and coordinating with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • You excel in leveraging consumer insights and market data to inform strategies and enhance customer experiences.
  • You are passionate about sustainability and excited to champion BCAA’s mission through innovative marketing efforts.

What you’ll do:

  • Lead the development and execution of marketing strategies for Evolve, from pre-launch planning to ongoing campaigns.
  • Oversee the creation of go-to-market strategies, including marketing budgets, resource planning, and launch activities.
  • Manage post-launch marketing efforts, continuously adapting strategies based on consumer feedback and performance data.
  • Work closely with public relations and community engagement teams to build strong brand presence and foster community connections.
  • Lead market research activities to gather consumer and market insights, using findings to guide campaign development and product enhancements.
  • Manage and mentor a direct report, ensuring alignment with team goals and fostering professional growth.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams and external partners to execute multi-channel marketing strategies that drive awareness, engagement, and conversion.
  • Develop marketing metrics and tracking tools to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize performance.
  • Ensure alignment with BCAA’s overall purpose, brand strategy, and membership goals in all marketing initiatives.

What you bring:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 6 years of combined experience in product and consumer marketing, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
  • 2–3 years of experience in shared mobility or micromobility, with a proven ability to develop and execute strategies that drive customer engagement and adoption.
  • Proven expertise in developing and executing go-to-market strategies, including traditional and digital marketing tactics.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to translate consumer insights into actionable marketing strategies.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with experience working collaboratively across internal and external teams.
  • High proficiency in MS Office Suite, with expertise in managing budgets and creating marketing plans.
  • Bonus Skills and Experience:
  • Experience in digital product management and public relations.
  • Familiarity with micromobility trends or a passion for sustainability-focused initiatives.

The salary range for this position is $91,000 to $115,000 and is determined via job-related knowledge, skills, experience, certifications, market demand, and internal equity. In addition to base salary and BCAA benefits, this position is eligible for a performance bonus target of 12.5%, with the opportunity to earn up to 20%.
