Your role
The Marketing Manager is responsible for leading our marketing initiatives focused on the foodservice segment. In this role, the marketing manager will integrate industry trends, consumer insights, and customer brand strategies to drive impactful marketing campaigns, and develop and present with the Food and Beverage BUs new concept ideas.
The role will be responsible for spearheading customer presentations, leading digital marketing strategies, and collaborating closely with cross-functional teams to grow our business.
The marketing manager will drive online customer engagement and guide the marketing team on digital and insight initiatives in collaboration with the VP of Marketing and Marketing Directors.
- A. Customer Engagement: Drive high-impact presentations/demos for key foodservice customer accounts integrating relevant market, trend, and consumer insights with brand understanding to develop and present new concept ideas.
- Work with secondary data suppliers (Technomic, Datassential, TrendHunter, etc.) for the team to create market overview and trend presentations for reactive and proactive projects.
- Oversee foodservice Marketing support for reactive customer projects.
- Collaborate on all foodservice projects and requests that need MSCI support.
- Develop the Pro-active initiatives together with the VP & Director of Marketing.
- Communicate with international MSCI colleagues for international insights.
- B. Digital Strategy: Oversee and guide the Digital Marketing Specialist in developing and executing digital campaigns, social media, SEO, and email marketing, for foodservice accounts.
- Collaborate with Beverage and Food BUs and Account Managers to implement campaigns.
- Define and create relevant offerings and content for push SAP Marketing Cloud email campaigns together with the Digital Marketing Specialist.
- Implement digital content marketing initiatives including content creation (blog posts, e-books, teasers) together with the Digital Marketing Specialist.
- Identify relevant content for customer insights marketing and identify target accounts together with the Marketing Insight Manager.
- C. Develop and Promote AOP (Annual Operating Plan) Initiatives.
- Define the scope of the projects with VP and Director of Marketing.
- Work with outside agencies to run the research with appropriate methodologies.
- Create teasers, small presentations, and extended presentation decks.
- Present with foodservice account managers for strategic accounts.
- Develop and apply appropriate offline and online promotion.
About you
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in marketing or a related field
- 5 to 8 years of marketing or consumer insight experience
- Extensive experience in Marketing Communication, Integrated Marketing, Content, and Digital Marketing
- Experience with data metasynthesis and “storytelling”
- Client-based Marketing experience
- Strong organizational and listening skills
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written)
- Ability to re-prioritize work based on business activities
- Ability to effectively work under tight deadlines and manage projects independently
- Creative thinking
- Strong analytical skills
- Flexible and curious
- Excellent people skills and an upbeat and enthusiastic attitude
