The Marketing Manager is responsible for developing and executing strategic marketing initiatives to drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and revenue growth in multiple exciting industries where Todd Mercer operates. These industries include Local Fuel Delivery, HVAC, Music Management, Commercial Real Estate, Technology Entrepreneurship, and more. This role requires industry insight, innovative marketing strategies, and the ability to manage many ongoing campaigns. The Marketing Manager will collaborate with management to ensure alignment with corporate objectives and compliance with regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Marketing Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement the marketing strategy to promote products and services across target markets.
- Conduct market research to understand industry trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and potential new markets.
- Identify opportunities for brand positioning and differentiation within the industries.
- Campaign Management:
- Design and execute integrated marketing campaigns, including digital, print, social media, and event-based strategies.
- Oversee and implement advertising, PR, social media, and communication plans to enhance brand image and market reach.
- Evaluate campaign performance using KPIs and adjust strategies to optimize results.
- Product Marketing and Sales Support:
- Collaborate with product and sales teams to develop product positioning and messaging that resonates with target audiences.
- Create marketing collateral, presentations, and other materials to support sales teams.
- Assist in training sales teams on product features, benefits, and competitive differentiation.
- Social Media Marketing:
- Develop and execute a social media strategy aligned with overall marketing goals to increase brand awareness, engagement, and customer loyalty.
- Produce, curate, and manage a robust content calendar across social media platforms that highlights products, services, industry trends, and brand values.
- Utilize analytics tools to measure engagement, reach, and conversion metrics, refining strategies to maximize the effectiveness of social media efforts.
- Foster community engagement by responding to comments, messages, and customer inquiries promptly and professionally to build a positive brand experience.
- Customer Relationship Management:
- Monitor customer satisfaction and feedback to continually improve the customer experience.
- Implement tools and strategies to improve customer loyalty and retention.
- Digital Marketing and Analytics:
- Manage digital marketing channels, including website, social media, SEO, email marketing, and paid advertising.
- Analyze website traffic, social media metrics, and campaign performance to gain insights and refine marketing strategies.
- Stay updated on digital marketing trends, particularly in the oil and energy sector.
- Brand Management:
- Maintain and enhance the company’s brand reputation and positioning in the market.
- Ensure brand consistency across all marketing materials and channels.
- Develop sponsorships, partnerships, and other initiatives to increase brand visibility.
- Budget Management:
- Plan and manage the marketing budget, ensuring optimal resource allocation for campaign activities.
- Track marketing expenses, analyze ROI, and adjust spending based on performance metrics.
- Compliance and Regulatory Oversight:
- Ensure all marketing activities comply with industry regulations, environmental guidelines, and company policies.
- Work closely with the legal team to ensure marketing materials adhere to regulatory standards.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience: 3+ years of marketing experience preferred, but not required.
- Skills:
- Strong knowledge of marketing principles, digital marketing tools, and B2C marketing.
- Excellent analytical, project management, and communication skills.
- Proficiency with Meta for Business Platforms, Google Analytics, WordPress, Canva (or similar), and marketing automation platforms.
- Strong public speaker and comfortable with speaking on camera.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
- Work Location: Ideally, this position will be full-time in our office. However, work-from-home opportunities are available if requested. An in-person presence is required at the office in Sydney, NS on a weekly basis/as needed.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
