Marketing Manager

The Marketing Manager will be a leader on the Marketing Team at Impact Kitchen, with a focus on taking the brand to new heights and growing the Impact community. This role will develop and deliver Impact Kitchen’s Marketing strategy to the Toronto and NYC (and beyond!) markets, with a focus on brand growth with consistency. The successful candidate will work closely with the Director of Marketing & Partnerships to continue to grow the Impact Kitchen digital & physical community through content, events, loyalty and community engagement. WORKING ENVIRONMENT

The Marketing Manager will balance a Monday to Friday schedule with flexibility to work evenings & weekends in order to attend and support community events and content needs. This key contributor to team Impact will work 40 hours per week on a full-time basis, based in Toronto, Ontario. The ability to travel throughout Toronto, and NYC on occasion, to Impact Kitchen location(s), Partner facilities and community events is key to success in this role.

COMPENSATION

The Marketing Manager is entitled to an annual salary aligned with experience, an annual bonus based on achieving key results, 3 weeks of vacation, benefits, a 50% discount on Impact Kitchen products and a meal allowance to keep you fuelled while you work.

TEAM & DEPARTMENT

Reporting to Impact Kitchen’s Director of Marketing & Partnerships and a member of the Marketing & Partnerships team, the Marketing Manager will be an integral part of our Impact Kitchen HQ team and support Impact’s growth by engaging our physical and digital community. The Marketing Manager will collaborate with the Community Manager, NYC and manage the Content Coordinator (based in Toronto), to deliver a holistic Marketing Strategy.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES

The Marketing Manager will be responsible for the development and implementation of a robust marketing strategy with a focus on growing the Impact brand consistency for Impact Kitchen.

Key marketing pillars include:

  • Content Management: Lead content planning & execution across all channels including organic social media, paid social media, e-mail, website, blog, menu boards, product labels, packaging, in-restaurant signage, event signage, photography, Impact App, 3rd party apps and more.
  • Digital Marketing: Oversee the development of Impact’s Email Marketing campaigns to engage Impact loyalty members, support Impact Blog posts and communicate Impact announcements. Manage the execution of Impact’s email & loyalty marketing campaigns using Givex’s “Engage AI” tool.
  • Ambassador, Guest & Partner Engagement: Represent Impact Kitchen in the community by developing meaningful relationships with Ambassadors, key Guests & Partners.
  • Guest Loyalty: Effectively communicate Impact’s loyalty program benefits to maximize growth and guest engagement in the Impact App.
  • Community Events: Host, attend & fuel community events that align with Impact Kitchen’s values and objectives.
  • Brand Management: Ensure brand consistency for the Impact Kitchen brand, across all channels and active markets.

In addition, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for:

  • Collaborating cross-functionally with Operations, Culinary and People & Culture departments to support menu launches, priority menu items, employer branding & optimizing guest experience.
  • Managing and adhering to the annual & periodic Marketing budget.
  • Reporting on key marketing metrics including Objectives, Key Results and KPIs.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3-5 years of relevant Marketing & Brand management with a growing brand.
  • Understanding of key marketing principles, with the ability to develop and execute a robust marketing strategy with a focus on brand growth.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills with the ability to multitask when required.
  • Experience managing a growing team of marketing professionals.
  • The desire to support Impact Kitchen through growth.
  • A passion for health & wellness is an asset.
  • Able to work in both a standing and seated position for extended periods of time.
  • G driver's license with a clean driving record is an asset but not required.
