We are looking to bring on an experienced Marketing Manager to join our dynamic team. Position Overview:
Reporting to the VP, Sales and working closely with the VP, Product Development, the Marketing Manager will be responsible for driving our brand strategy, spearheading the development of a marketing plan and managing relationships with third-party vendors and agencies. The ideal candidate has a proven track record in creating impactful marketing campaigns, is comfortable using AI-powered tools and excels in vendor management to amplify our marketing efforts.
Main Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with company goals, focusing on brand awareness, lead generation, and sales growth.
- Collaborate with the VP, Sales and VP, Product Development to create and execute marketing campaigns for new product launches and key product development initiatives.
- Utilize AI-powered tools to optimize market content, search engine optimization (SEO) and customer engagement.
- Lead all marketing initiatives, including social media, email campaigns, and website content updates.
- Manage third-party agencies and vendors, including digital marketing firms, creative agencies and advertising partners to establish a fully functioning marketing division.
- Evaluate vendor performance and negotiate contracts to ensure high-quality deliverables and cost-effective solutions.
- Oversee project timelines, budgets, and campaign outcomes to meet marketing objectives.
- Use AI-powered analytics tools to track key performance indicators (KPIs), measure ROI and provide actionable insights to stakeholders.
- Plan, organize, and coordinate Unique’s participation in events such as trade shows, photo and video shoots for new products, and other industry events.
- Support VP, Sales with documentation design for board presentations.
- Other duties as required to support the needs of the business.
Experience Requirements:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in business or marketing.
- At least 5+ years of progressive marketing experience.
- Experience with brand positioning and developing and managing digital marketing strategies and campaigns.
- Strong project management skills and experience working with third-party vendors and agencies.
- Demonstrated experience using AI tools for content creation, digital marketing, and/or data analysis.
- Experience using CRM systems and task management software.
- Expert level proficiency with Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel & PowerPoint).
- Ability to think both strategically and act tactically, understanding the needs of the business.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills, both internally and externally with customers and vendor partners.
Additional experience that would be an asset:
- PR and copy writing and design experience.
- Social media experience.
- Exposure/experience with e-commerce.
- Bilingual (English/French) would be an asset.
- Past sales experience or product management experience.
