tbk’s Marketing Manager will support tbk’s clients to reach their ambitious business goals. It’s an exciting opportunity to flex the strategic muscles of your mind for some of the nation’s most established brands.
The successful candidate must already have significant marketing experience and a keen appetite to explore new industry trends and tactics. Our new Marketing Manager will be given an impressive client portfolio to manage. They will support these companies in growing their brand and their business through strategic marketing plans.
This is your chance to be the marketing lead for a portfolio of tbk’s digital advertising clients. You’ll work directly with the Director of Digital & Operations to produce top-quality work and ensure budgets are being spent on the most effective channels to reach the right audiences.

Responsibilities
The successful candidate will be responsible for:
- Ensuring our clients are meeting the set KPIs and business goals. If they are not, you will work with the project team on creating new strategies and plans to achieve these metrics.
- Leading client meetings and presenting reports, recommendations, and strategies on a monthly or quarterly basis.
- Assisting with the production, accuracy, and delivery of marketing reports and presentations for all client accounts by conducting reviews and final approvals.
- Monitoring advertising health checks on active accounts and actioning whatever is needed with the digital team.
- Reviewing digital production budgets, coordinating with account representatives on overages, and ensuring billable targets are achieved.
- Approving and reviewing media budgets and pacing to ensure no overages or misspend on tbk’s advertising accounts.
- Planning and launching new marketing campaigns for tbk’s clients.
- Optimizing and managing ongoing marketing campaigns to reach program KPIs.
- Empowering our team with their day-to-day tasks and supporting personal development:
- Training on tbk digital production best practices.
- Providing shadow opportunities for new digital and account team members during their onboarding.
- Reviewing all first versions from new team members of production in the first two months.
- Supporting with project retrospective sessions to identify areas of improvement within the department and companywide.
- Creating and implementing (with the approval of the Director of Digital & Operations) new processes to mitigate risk, build efficiencies, and improve quality of work within the digital department.
- Preparing and presenting Lunch & Learns or training sessions to support with training and digital innovation at tbk.
- Creating training and strategy guides that incorporate marketing best practices and tbk values.

Requirements
Applicants should have the following skills and experience:
- 5+ years of experience in marketing (agency or in-house).
- Successful completion of a post-secondary program in a relevant field (marketing, digital marketing, business).
- Expert knowledge in Digital Advertising, Search Engine Optimization, Web Analytics, Email Marketing, Social Marketing, SMS Marketing, Content Marketing, and Print/Outdoor Advertising.
- Expert knowledge in Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Google Tag Manager, SEMRush, Looker Studio, and Microsoft Office 365’s suite of software.
- Strong ability to problem solve, plan, strategize and support the client in achieving KPIs and goals.
- Strong ability to listen, understand, problem-solve, plan, strategize, and deliver meaningful digital and creative solutions to clients.
- A natural leader with a strong ability to motivate, mentor, and lead meetings.
- Strong understanding of business goals and issues businesses face in their day-to-day operations.
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment.
