Marketing Executive (f/m/d) SAP Supply Chain Management Chief Marketing Officer

We are seeking a visionary and experienced Chief Marketing Officer (CMO) (m/f/d) to lead our product marketing efforts and drive brand awareness, thought leadership, pipeline generation, customer acquisition, commercialization, and ultimately revenue and adoption growth within the supply chain management sector. The ideal candidate will be a strategic leader, with a deep understanding of technology marketing and a proven track record of success in a similar role.

What your Organization will do:

Strategic Marketing Leadership:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive marketing and product strategy aligned with the company's overall business objectives.
  • Ownership to ensure a seamless interlock between product strategy, execution plans (roadmaps and semester plans) and external marketing communication.
  • Conduct market research and analysis to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitive landscapes.
  • Set marketing KPIs and track performance to measure the effectiveness of marketing initiatives.
  • Develop and execute comprehensive event strategies that drive brand awareness, customer engagement, and business growth.
  • Oversee a team that conducts market research and competitive analysis to inform strategic decisions.
  • Ensure a seamless execution of the marketing strategy in an interlock with regional marketing leadership.

Brand Management:

  • Build and maintain a strong brand identity and positioning for Supply Chain Management.
  • Manage brand reputation and crisis communications.

Demand and Pipeline Generation:

  • Develop and implement effective demand generation strategies, including content marketing, e-mail marketing, social media marketing, and paid advertising.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to generate qualified leads and drive pipeline growth.

Content Marketing:

  • Work closely with product and engineering teams to launch new products and features.
  • Create high-quality product marketing materials, such as datasheets, whitepapers, and presentations.

Customer Marketing:

  • Build strong relationships with strategic customers and foster customer loyalty.

Organizational Leadership:

  • Lead and mentor a high-performing marketing organization.
  • Recruit, hire, and develop top marketing talent.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with product, engineering, and design teams to align marketing efforts with product development and customer needs.

A thorough understanding of Supply Chain software solutions and processes, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to deconstruct critical components and complexity drivers are required. Familiarity with working in a fast-paced, multi-cultural organization is necessary.

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Ability to lead and inspire teams.
  • MBA or equivalent degree preferred.
  • Typically requires 15+ years of experience in technology marketing.
