Description and Requirements
As the International Sales Organization (ISO) Marketing Director, you play a pivotal role in driving marketing transformation and execution across the Worldwide and Geo Marketing organizations including B2B segments, global, enterprise, SMB, and across the breadth of Lenovo’s portfolio: solutions and services (technology, professional, managed), data center infrastructure (server, storage, HPC, software), and client devices (laptops, tablets, mobile). This fast-paced, highly transformational role demands strong cross-functional collaboration to align innovative marketing campaigns, strategies, and initiatives aimed at acquiring, nurturing, and retaining B2B clients while driving impactful sales enablement.
Responsibilities:
- Integrated B2B Marketing Campaign Strategy: Partner across WW and Geo to develop and align marketing campaigns globally across different B2B segments, ensuring relevance in emerging trends such as AI and digital transformation, while optimizing reach to the target audience.
- Corporate Strategy and Brand Alignment: Partner with corporate strategy and brand teams to craft marketing messages tailored to each B2B segment, ensuring resonance with specific industry needs and positioning Lenovo’s full technology portfolio effectively.
- Global Project Management: Lead and streamline the execution of cohesive marketing initiatives through digital marketing, content marketing, campaigns, events, and webinars, ensuring consistent messaging across all regions. Collaborate closely with B2B regional leaders to ensure seamless execution and alignment of marketing strategies at the local level.
- Brand Positioning and Messaging: Develop and maintain a unified brand voice and positioning for B2B audiences, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials, platforms, and channels to build brand equity.
- Sales Enablement and Support: Work closely with sales teams and the Sales Enablement Academy to create and refine sales materials, including presentations, scripts, AI playbooks, and ROI calculators that drive conversions and accelerate the sales cycle.
- Organizational Marketing Transformation: Assess and evolve the global ISO marketing organization’s structure to foster a world-class, modern marketing team capable of delivering agile, data-driven marketing strategies.
- Market Research and Competitive Insights: Stay ahead of industry trends, market dynamics, and competitor activities, continuously refining Lenovo's marketing approach to capitalize on opportunities and mitigate threats.
- Leadership and Team Collaboration: Lead and inspire a global team of B2B marketing professionals, fostering innovation and ensuring close collaboration with regional marketing teams to meet business goals and drive results.
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- 15+ years of demonstrated B2B Marketing experience and success.
- Proven experience in IT Infrastructure market, software, cloud, or AI markets.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Demonstrated success in developing and executing B2B marketing strategies that drive lead generation, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels, content marketing best practices, marketing automation tools (e.g., Marketo), and CRM systems (e.g., Dynamics365).
- Ability to lead in a highly matrixed environment taking direction from, and collaborating with, several solid/dotted line leaders while collaborating across the organization.
- Experience in taking feedback or input from several different sources (organizations), and synthesizing it into one cohesive strategy/program/etc.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, derive actionable insights, and make data-driven decisions.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively engage and influence internal and external stakeholders.
- Purposeful mindset with a history of meeting or exceeding targets and objectives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience in leading and working in a cross-function team.
