Green Key Global is a leading global sustainability certification body that offers standardized programs and resources, designed specifically for the hotels. Our globally recognized programs help our members leverage organizational corporate social responsibility and support sustainable initiatives across their properties and brands. With over 20 participating countries and a notable mix of branded and independent hotels as members, Green Key Global is truly the hotel and lodging industry’s sustainable certification program of choice.

Green Key Global is jointly owned and operated by the American Hotel & Lodging Association (US) and the Hotel Association of Canada (HAC), who have recently unified to deliver a singular solution for hotel sustainability certification in North America. The Green Key Global program is poised for significant growth as this partnership will accelerate its penetration into the US market and is therefore investing in resources to support the strategic and operational expansion of the program.

About the Role:

We’re searching for an energetic and results-driven Marketing Coordinator, skilled in the operations and technical side of marketing. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, you’ll be hands-on in a wide range of marketing functions, primarily focused on managing our social media channels, website, email campaigns, and Google Analytics. You'll be responsible for developing, implementing, and tracking marketing campaigns that align with our business goals.

You’re highly organized, efficient and professional, with razor-sharp attention to detail. You’re a savvy student of marketing trends and analytics, able to easily navigate the changing social media landscape and develop compelling content and strategy. You’re skilled in graphic design and web administration, and with a range of related media and tools.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist marketing team in the development and execution of campaigns, including content creation, new-product launches, social media, upselling, cross-selling, and sales enablement.
  • Maintain and manage Green Key Global’s website and SEO/SEM initiatives.
  • Manage and support emails, automated journeys, triggers, and newsletters via email platform Mailchimp.
  • Own content development and deployment on all Green Key Global’s social media platforms.
  • Develop and edit content for web, social media, events, and news releases.
  • Basic graphic design/HTML knowledge to develop or update creative for digital channels.
  • Develop dashboards and other reports through Google Analytics to track, measure and analyze as well as recommend campaign optimization feedback.
Qualifications:
  • A degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
  • Proven experience in a similar marketing role with an emphasis on digital platforms and working with Google Analytics.
  • Hands-on experience in managing a broad range of channels, including SEO/SEM, marketing database, email, social media, and/or advertising campaigns.
  • Solid marketing research and statistical analysis experience, with knowledge of analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Hootsuite, MailChimp, SEMrush, etc.).
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with the ability to craft compelling and creative content and graphics.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook. Experience in identifying target audiences and deploying multi-channel integrated digital campaigns aligning with customer lifecycle.
  • Organized and efficient with well-developed time management skills and ability to balance strategic and tactical priorities and deliver against a range of competing deadlines.
  • An empathetic, positive, and collaborative colleague.
Assets:
  • Google Analytics certification.
  • Mailchimp or any other email platform certification or training.
  • Graphic design certification/training.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is preferred.
