Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly motivated Marketing Coordinator to join our growing team. In this role, you will support the development, execution, and optimization of marketing campaigns aimed at promoting our products and services. Working closely with various teams, you will help drive results across multiple digital channels and be also responsible for content creation for in store promotions. Key Responsibilities:
Campaign Development & Execution
- Help plan and execute multi-channel marketing campaigns that increase brand awareness, engagement, and sales.
- Manage campaigns across social media, email and paid ads to ensure they align with overall marketing goals.
- Execute in-store marketing campaigns in the Grande Prairie store and remotely in other stores.
Content Creation for Digital & In-Store
- Produce a variety of marketing content, including product videos, blog posts, email newsletters, social media content, and in-store signage.
- Work with the creative team to develop compelling content that resonates with customers both online and in-store.
- Assist with live event coverage and on-location content during store events for social media platforms.
Remote Marketing Management for Multiple Locations
- Coordinate marketing efforts across several store locations remotely, ensuring local campaigns reflect both regional needs and the overall brand strategy.
- Develop location-specific content, such as promotions, product offers, and seasonal campaigns.
- Regularly check in with store managers to understand local marketing needs and adjust strategies accordingly.
Website Management & SEO Optimization
- Oversee updates to the company website via WordPress, ensuring all content is fresh, accurate, and SEO-optimized.
- Update product listings, website posts, and landing pages to align with current marketing campaigns.
- Monitor website performance using Google Analytics to track traffic, identify trends, and recommend optimizations.
Market Research & Trend Analysis
- Conduct research on current market trends, customer behavior, and competitor strategies to stay ahead of the curve.
- Provide actionable insights based on research to improve existing campaigns or develop new marketing initiatives.
Analytics & Performance Reporting
- Track and analyze key marketing metrics, including website traffic, social media engagement, and email campaign performance.
- Regularly report findings to the marketing team and store manager, suggesting areas for improvement and adjustments to ongoing campaigns.
Budget Management
- Assist in tracking marketing budgets to ensure that campaigns are completed within financial guidelines.
- Monitor expenses and help ensure that resources are allocated efficiently across campaigns.
Qualifications & Skills:
Education: Bachelor's degree in Marketing or related field (preferred).
Experience:
- Must have at least One (1) year of experience in a digital marketing role.
- Proven experience with Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign).
- Familiarity with WordPress Content Management System (CMS).
- Experience with e-commerce platforms is preferred.
Skills & Competencies:
- Proficient in digital marketing strategies and campaign management across various platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, Google Ads, and other social media platforms, to drive brand awareness and engagement.
- In-depth knowledge of digital marketing strategies, including SEO, SEM, email marketing, social media management, and content creation.
- Skilled in the use of Canva design tools.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights to drive decision-making.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and effectively to diverse audiences.
Working Requirements:
This role is based in Grande Prairie, Alberta, so candidates should either be local to the area or willing to relocate to Grande Prairie. This role requires 5 days a work week, may need to work on Saturdays during sales events.
