At OEB Breakfast we are proud to deliver a culinary experience that is built on artistry, passion and soul! We are looking for a dynamic and creative Marketing Coordinator to join our team, reporting to the Senior Marketing Manager. The Marketing Coordinator will play a key role in supporting the execution of marketing strategies and campaigns to elevate OEB's brand presence and drive customer engagement. This role requires a blend of creativity, organization, and project management skills to manage the day-to-day marketing activities, coordinate with the marketing team, and contribute to the success of our marketing efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management: Manage and grow OEB’s social media presence by creating, scheduling, and publishing posts and monitoring performance metrics.
  • Content Creation: Develop compelling and on-brand social media content for various platforms.
  • Graphic Design: Working knowledge of graphic design to create marketing materials as needed (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Suite).
  • Email Marketing: Develop and manage email marketing campaigns, including the creation of email blasts, promotional emails, and automated email series. Analyze performance metrics to optimize content and improve engagement.
  • Public Relations: Assist in managing OEB’s public relations efforts, including writing and distributing press releases.
  • Event Marketing: Support the planning and execution of events.
  • Advertising: Assist with the development, placement and monitoring of advertising campaigns across digital, print, and social media channels. Coordinate with external agencies or vendors as needed to ensure successful ad delivery and performance.
  • Campaign Management: Assist in the planning, execution, and tracking of marketing campaigns across multiple channels, including social media, email, and in-store promotions.
  • Website Management: Assist in updating the OEB website, including managing content changes for menus, new locations, hours of operation, job postings, and other relevant information to ensure accuracy and consistency.
  • Photo and Video Shoots: Assist with the planning and execution of photo and video shoots, ensuring brand consistency and high-quality content for marketing campaigns.
  • Vendor and Partner Relations: Coordinate with external vendors, partners, and suppliers to support marketing activities, including printers, agencies, and franchise partners.
  • Restaurant Openings: Help coordinate marketing efforts for new restaurant openings, including assisting with launch strategies and developing promotional materials to ensure a successful debut.
  • Analytics and Reporting: Monitor and report on the performance of marketing initiatives using data-driven insights to optimize future efforts.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and competitor analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for growth.
  • Administrative Support: Handle administrative tasks related to marketing, including maintaining marketing calendars, and organizing assets.

  • Proficiency in social media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn) and digital marketing tools (e.g., Mailchimp, Prowly).
  • Experience with WordPress for managing website updates and content.
  • Creative thinking with the ability to generate new ideas and approaches.
  • Experience with project management software like Monday.com to track and manage marketing activities and projects.

Personality:

  • Passionate about food, creativity, and community with a positive and collaborative attitude.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing.
  • Experience: 2-3 years of experience in a marketing role, preferably in the hospitality or food and beverage industry.

Location:

  • Edmonton (In-Office).

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $65,000.00-$75,000.00 per year
