This is an exciting opportunity for someone beginning their Marketing career or looking to transfer their applicable skills to a new discipline. Reporting to the Sr. Marketing Manager, the Marketing Coordinator combines strong organizational skills, high attention to detail, constant accountability, and technological savviness to manage our vendors, manage incoming projects, administrative duties, and other tasks as assigned by the Sr. Marketing Manager.

WHAT WILL YOU DO?

Team Support

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to acquire information and plan projects effectively.
  • Provide comprehensive support to regional teams, addressing their unique marketing requirements.
  • Manage the marketing project intake platform and shared inbox to streamline various requests, including events, signage, communications, and other marketing needs, ensuring efficient processing and alignment with team goals.
  • Utilize project management software to input projects, track progress, and ensure deadlines are met.
  • Support resident satisfaction and event execution by working with the Event Coordinator to ensure events are a success.
  • Manage coordination and execution of tactics aimed at smooth onboarding of newly acquired assets.

Brand Coordination

  • Support signage efforts by visiting our assets, auditing building branding, creating action-item summaries, coordinating with vendors, coordinating approval, and ensuring timely payment through company software.
  • Manage and maintain self-serve signage platform, approvals, and vendor relations.
  • Manage marketing swag sourcing, procurement, and inventory levels.
  • Manage relationships with photography vendors, coordinating content capture for our portfolio of assets.

Administrative Support

  • Manage purchase orders and credit card reconciliation, ensuring compliance with budgeting guidelines.
  • Maintain orderly databases for invoices, design files, photography, contracts, and signage records.
  • Support programming efforts with related collateral, tracking, and reporting.

WHAT WILL YOU NEED?

  • Background in Marketing, Communications, or Administration, or relevant experience in these fields.
  • Minimum of 1 year working in a team environment, with a preference for marketing experience.
  • Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or basic experience with Adobe Creative Suite are considered assets.
  • Demonstrable experience with CRMs or other automation/project management tools (e.g., Asana, JIRA, Yardi, MailChimp) is an asset.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license and a reliable vehicle, with a willingness to travel occasionally.
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail.
  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Capable of working independently and as part of a team, with the ability to collaborate cross-functionally with teams across different departments and locations.
  • Ability to anticipate needs and communicate them effectively.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
