DIALOG is seeking a motivated business development coordinator to assist Edmonton’s Marketing and Business Development Leader in driving lead generation. You will conduct market analysis and complete a range of administrative duties. As the ideal candidate you are an energized, ambitious and responsible individual who enjoys working in a fast-paced team environment. You have excellent people skills and a passion for city building.

How you’ll make a difference:

• Collaborate with team members in designing and producing proposals and qualifications packages
• Write non-technical portions of the proposal (cover letters, executive summaries, project descriptions, team qualifications, project wins)
• Support the creation and implementation of pipeline strategies and tracking systems
• Conduct market research and analysis in the architecture, engineering and construction industry to identify new business development opportunities
• Assist with the preparation of analysis, qualification, proposal, and interview presentations for client sectors. Create and maintain client databases and mail lists
• Provide other support as needed

Who you are:

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in graphic design, communications, business/marketing, English, or equivalent required
• 1–3 years of related experience; design firm experience preferred
• Experience in Adobe InDesign. Other Adobe Creative Suite products is an asset
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to prioritize and manage workload.
• Exhibits critical thinking and makes informed decisions.
• You thrive in a collaborative, positive environment where teamwork, creativity, and fun drive success
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Organized, detail-oriented and deadline-driven
• Strong networking skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Nice to have:

• Experience working in the AEC industry is an asset
• Experience in Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator is an asset
