THE ROLE
The Marketing and Communications Specialist will be a critical part of our growing Business Development team, working directly with our senior management and construction teams. As the successful candidate, you will be responsible for developing and executing internal and external communication strategies, supporting project-specific marketing efforts, and ensuring consistent branding across all platforms. The ideal candidate will have strong writing, design, and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Key Accountabilities/Responsibilities
- Develop and implement project-specific communication plans to enhance visibility and engagement.
- Create client-ready architectural visualizations, graphics, and presentation materials.
- Write, design, and distribute the biweekly internal newsletter, featuring employee highlights and project updates.
- Maintain and update project profiles, staff profiles, and proposal content libraries.
- Manage and update the company website, SharePoint intranet, and TV displays.
- Design advertising materials and oversee company branding assets.
- Support proposal development, including resource management, document reviews, and visual aids.
- Assist in creating 3D models and 3D/4D site logistics plans for preconstruction and construction.
- Edit drone footage and compile images for marketing materials.
- Coordinate the annual employee clothing sale, corporate calendars, and swag requests.
What You Bring
To be successful in the role, applicants will have:
- University degree in English, Journalism, Marketing, Public Relations, or Communications
- Excellent written communication skills
- Strong editing capabilities
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) (intermediate or higher)
- Comfortable with tight deadlines and working in a fast-paced environment
