The Marketing Analyst will be responsible for utilizing available data sources to provide meaningful insights to marketing and business development functions regarding market conditions, competitive data and growth opportunities.

What you will be doing:
- Conduct market analysis, evaluate the competitive landscape, and identify distribution opportunities using AC Nielsen and customer portal data.
- Analyze sales data, market research reports, and consumer insights to develop actionable recommendations for marketing strategies.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and promotions through lift analysis, benchmarking, and reporting.
- Monitor competitor activities and performance metrics to evaluate our products and identify competitive advantages.
- Collaborate closely with retail sales representatives to collect comprehensive retail landscape data for quarterly reports.
- Develop and maintain dashboards to track and report key marketing KPI’s such as feature lift, conversation rates, ROI, etc.
- Ensure the RSR and digital teams are informed about the latest updates on the sales feature calendar.
- Support the brand team with data-driven insights for customer presentations.
- Track, monitor, and reconcile marketing budget trackers on a monthly basis. Coordinate with brand managers & finance to resolve any discrepancies.
- Manage product coupons, check redemption levels, and monitor the corporate budget for coupon expenses.
What you will bring:
- College diploma or university degree in marketing
- Analytical, with problem-identification and problem-solving capabilities
- Strong math skills and financial acumen
- Team player, able to collaborate, manage, and influence internal & external stakeholders effectively
- Strong communication skills
- Strong knowledge of AC Nielsen, MS Power BI, and customer portal platforms (e.g., Loblaws Top Shelf, Unify IRI, and Walmart Retail Link)
- Ability to excel in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail and effective multi-tasking are essential
- Advanced computer skills, especially in Excel and PowerPoint
- Digital marketing knowledge is an asset
