Job description

The Data Marketing & Insights team is looking for someone who is passionate about market research to take part in leading our brand and advertising market research initiatives.

As a Market Research Specialist, you will be tasked with developing and managing market research projects related to our brand and advertising performance for all BRP brands globally (Ski-Doo, Sea-Doo, Can-Am, Marine). You will collaboratively work with the brand teams to monitor our brand health, measure the impact of our advertising strategies, and ensure constant improvement.

You will work closely with external suppliers during each step of the research projects, including the elaboration of the research plans and tools, the analysis, and the reporting.

By also leveraging other data sources, you will develop your knowledge of the industry and of the consumers to identify opportunities and suggest clear recommendations that will guide our marketing strategies and tactics.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Lead trackers for all BRP brands and monitor brand and advertising KPIs.
  • Design and execute custom market research to address information gaps.
  • Recommend research methodologies & sampling frameworks.
  • Develop optimal collection tools for all research projects under purview.
  • Prepare research reports and action plans for corporate & executive stakeholders.
  • Interpret available consumer data to build actionable insights.
  • Be the voice of the customer in strategic meetings.
  • Provide strategic recommendations to marketing and business management.

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS AND QUALITIES:

  • Minimum 8 years’ experience across various market research and insights roles.
  • Proactive connector, able to liaise with all relevant internal stakeholders.
  • Naturally curious, self-motivated and obsessed with data integrity.
  • Previous experience visualizing and storytelling data for non-data audiences.
  • Proficiency with consumer intelligence platforms (Qualtrics, Sprout, Display R).
  • Experience with multivariate analysis and other statistical techniques preferred.
