The Job at a Glance
The Market Development Manager for HVAC will play a pivotal role in advancing the market presence for Parts Town Canada by identifying industry needs and developing strategies to effectively position the company. This role involves conducting market assessments to gain insights into customer requirements and identifying key industry players including associations, distributors, competitors, manufacturers. The manager will collaborate with the internal HVAC team and formulate a comprehensive plan in partnership with the sales team. Additionally, the incumbent will collaborate closely with sales teams to manage and enhance customer partnerships, leveraging extensive product knowledge and industry insights to deliver tailored solutions that maximize value.
A Typical Day
To Land This Opportunity
You have a post-Secondary degree or diploma in Business, Marketing, HVAC, or a related field.
You have a minimum of 3 years of experience in market development, business development, or sales (within the HVAC industry preferred).
You have strong analytical skills with the ability to conduct market research, interpret data, and develop strategic recommendations.
You have excellent communication, relationship management, and negotiation skills.
You have the ability to develop and execute strategic plans, manage large accounts, and drive business growth.
You are organized, proactive, and passionate about customer relations and enhancing the customer experience.
You possess familiarity with HVAC industry trends, market dynamics, and regulatory environments.
Bonus if you are proficient in both English and French, which is advantageous particularly for engagements in Quebec and Atlantic regions.
You are excited about the ability to travel up to 30% of the time.
