The Voice of Political Science around the World
The Mark Grosjean Postdoctoral Fellowship honours Mark Grosjean’s exuberance for life and learning. The 2017 Silver Medallion winner in Political Science and BA Honours graduate, Mark was set to begin the direct-entry PhD program at the University of Toronto in political philosophy when he tragically passed away in 2018. The Department of Political Science is honoured to play a part in honouring Mark’s legacy through this Postdoctoral Fellowship.
As a best-in-kind fellowship, the vision and purpose of the Mark Grosjean Postdoctoral Fellowship in Political Science is to provide vital early-career support to exceptionally promising scholars allowing the Fellow to establish an original research agenda and contribute to political science.
The Mark Grosjean Postdoctoral Fellowship was generously endowed by Mark’s parents, Mr. Adam Grosjean, Dr. Cheri Stanzeleit and Mark’s sister, Dr. Heidi Grosjean, in December 2020. The first Fellowship is to be awarded in 2025.
