Your Responsibilities Will IncludeAs a Maritime Mechanical Trainer, you will play a crucial role in delivering high-quality training across apprenticeships, Further Education (FE), Higher Education (HE), and commercial courses. Key responsibilities include:
- Delivering engaging theoretical and practical training to students, ensuring industry-aligned learning.
- Conducting assessments, providing constructive feedback, and tracking student progress using digital platforms (e.g., e-portfolios, Canvas).
- Designing and developing effective training materials, including online resources.
- Engaging with students and employers to support individual learning plans and skills development.
- Contributing to course development, quality improvement initiatives, and student recruitment activities such as Open Days (which may involve occasional weekend or overnight commitments).
- Maintaining a commitment to health and safety, ensuring a secure and professional learning environment.
