Manufacturing Tool Sales Representative ($50,000 - $60,000 base + commissions)

Are you a self-motivated and ambitious sales professional with a passion for technical products? Do you have experience selling industrial tools or machinery to manufacturing companies? If so, we want you to join our team as a Tool Sales Representative!


We are a well-established tool manufacturing company based in Windsor, Ontario, and we are seeking a Manufacturing Tool Sales Representative to expand our sales efforts and drive revenue growth. As a member of our sales team, you will play a critical role in driving the success of our business.


Responsibilities:

  1. Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the industrial sector by building strong relationships with key decision-makers in the manufacturing industry.
  2. Provide technical support and product expertise to customers, including conducting product demonstrations, providing training, and troubleshooting.
  3. Develop and deliver compelling sales presentations to potential customers, highlighting the value and benefits of our products and services.
  4. Manage the sales cycle from lead generation to closing deals, ensuring sales targets are met or exceeded.
  5. Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and customer service, to ensure customer needs are met and projects are executed successfully.
  6. Stay up-to-date on industry trends and competitor activity to ensure our products remain competitive in the marketplace.

Requirements:

  1. Post secondary education in Machining or a related technical field.
  2. Minimum of 3 years of technical sales experience, preferably in the industrial tools or machinery industry.
  3. Strong understanding of the sales process, including prospecting, qualifying, and closing deals.
  4. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal teams.
  5. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
  7. Ability to travel between US/Canada as required (up to 50% of the time).
