We are actively seeking a Human Resources professional to join our team as a Human Resources Generalist in Saskatoon, SK.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

  • Lead the staffing process, including recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and onboarding for assigned areas.
  • Maintain positive employee relations by providing information and responding to employee questions and needs on a timely basis.
  • Partner with line managers to identify human resources issues or problems and provide counsel and support in finding solutions.
  • Research and provide expertise on all local, provincial, and federal employment laws to prevent litigation and employee morale issues.
  • Be an authority on Human Resource policies, procedures, compensation and benefit programs, employee management, and laws pertaining to employee relations to ensure consistent and fair treatment of all employees.
  • Perform administrative and record-keeping tasks related to staffing changes, which may include layoffs, resignations, terminations, and extended leaves of absence.
  • Develop management and technical training programs, training involving employment practices and other HR related training to foster knowledge and understanding of programs and issues.

Qualifications

The qualified candidate will have:

  • Bachelor's degree is required; Human Resources Management, Business or Operations related disciplines preferred.
  • Individuals completing a Bachelor's degree by June, 2025 are encouraged to apply.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Proven HR skills.
  • Understanding of key HR practices.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Collaborative and team-oriented disposition, with an ability to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Organized, able to multi-task, and prioritize work.
