Ready to take on a leadership role in manufacturing? We are hiring a Manufacturing Operator Leadhand to work closely with our Supervisors to oversee production activities, guide team members, and maintain high standards for adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMPs). Bring your manufacturing experience and leadership skills to our team!

In this role, you will:

  • Work Monday to Friday (2:15pm – 10:15pm); with flexibility to work in the morning shift for training purposes
  • Uphold and observe all safety policies outlined in company protocols
  • Lead and collaborate closely with the team, establish the pace, monitor team members' performance, track equipment conditions and statuses, deliver training, and nurture teamwork
  • Operate production machines, manage production priorities, and ensure a safe, efficient shift
  • Supervise daily activities of machine operators, assign individuals to each machine and rotate workers among different production machines as needed
  • Provide job training and technical support to the team
  • Ensure the availability of required production materials and blended powder or bulk products for upcoming production runs
  • Review and sign post-production manufacturing documents
  • Monitor operations closely and promptly report any workplace issues such as machine malfunctions, improper mixing procedures, and quality concerns

You have:

  • Experience in working in food production or manufacturing
  • Mechanical aptitude for machine maintenance
  • Strong interpersonal, supervisory, and coaching skills
  • Focus on safety and understanding of cGMP
  • Basic knowledge of Windows, Microsoft Word, and Excel
