Manufacturing Engineering Manager

1. Lead, mentor, and manage a team of manufacturing engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement.
2. Sustain and support Manufacturing Engineering aspects on the production lines within the facility.
3. Define project timelines, set priorities, and allocate resources efficiently to meet deadlines and deliverables.
4. Ensure the team is aware of day-to-day priorities, targets and responsibilities.
5. Drive process improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, productivity and capacity.
6. Work effectively with production team, product development engineering team and quality team to provide support and resolve process and technical issues.
7. Develop automated or semi-automated processes to improve efficiency and reliability.
8. Create and execute verification and validation (IQ, OQ, PQ, FMEA), of product equipment, processes, and designs Review and update work instructions, ATP's, travelers, and other internal documentation.
9. Review new designs and provide Design for Manufacturing input to Design Engineering.

1. Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Manufacturing Engineering
2. 3+ years in a leadership or managerial role in a manufacturing environment with demonstrated abilities to grow and develop teams
3. 10+ years experience in a manufacturing or equivalent engineering environment. Experience in the automotive, aerospace or HVAC System assembly industries would be an asset.
4. Strong project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering complex projects on time and within budget
5. High level of organizational skills
6. Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
7. Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and manage a team
8. Application of Lean and 6 sigma Manufacturing principles (Green Belt preferred)
9. Analytical approach to problem solving
10. The ability to remain open to new ideas and to maintain a positive attitude with a focus on quality
11. Solid computer skills (Excel, ERP experience an advantage)

1. $115,000 to $130,000 based on experience
