What will you do?

Manufacturing Engineers have significant responsibilities for the technical support and continuous improvement of manufacturing processes within the factory and broader the supply chain. They are responsible for designing and documenting all production processes and equipment for currently manufactured products and all new products. They follow Lean principles and solve problems with structured tools and methods. They drive automation and digitalization opportunities in the production processes.

As a Manufacturing Engineering Assistant, you will support the Manufacturing Engineering team with NX design and engineering administrative work. Support is required for maintaining/improving current daily production and for several important projects to implement new products and/or significant improvement projects in the factory.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design new and model existing equipment using NX
• Develop and maintain manufacturing Bills of Materials and routings in SAP
• Support our Total Productive Maintenance program, with set up and supply of spare parts
• Purchase and track materials for capital investment programs
• Create and modify detailed work instructions for manufacturing and support processes
• Complete root cause problem solving using proven tools and methods

What will you need to succeed?

• College degree in Engineering (Manufacturing, Mechatronics, Mechanical)
• Over 2 years of experience working in similar capacity in a manufacturing environment.
• Self-directed and comfortable in a team environment focused on results.
• Experienced with NX (high priority), SAP, and TeamCenter tools
• Excellent organizational and computer skills
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills and passion for manufacturing Engineering
